Teaching

I mainly taught Phys 202 Calculus-based Electromagnetics for Engineers for three semesters. I really enjoy teaching this class because I love how beautifully calculus applies itself to the nature. My experimental background and familiarity with electronics helps a lot during the lab sessions.

Tutoring

I've been tutoring several physics classes since 2022. I mainly tutor 100 and 200-level physics courses. But I also tutor higher level electrodynamics and quantum mechanics courses.

When I tutor, I take a holistic approach. In the first session, I evaluate the student’s needs, goals, and learning style. I see the learning process as a puzzle: it’s not just about absorbing information, but also about challenging oneself and identifying which pieces are missing or unclear.

My aim is to encourage critical thinking and actively guide students through the material, keeping them engaged and curious. To ensure each session is effective, I always ask for the course materials in advance and prepare thoroughly beforehand.
